Water heaters – Tank less or instantaneous – provides hot water
when you want it, eliminating the energy wasted by keeping water
heated in a tank. Can be used in addition to solar heating system.
Low-flow aerators – Screws right on to your faucet head and reduce
water flow while maintaining pressure.
Low-flow showerheads – Flow control technology that actually
increase water pressure, and those with non-aerating spray,
which save energy as the water takes less time to heat up.
Low-Flow, Dual Flush – uses considerably less water. Dual flush
allows you to choose how much water is used.
-Your Furnace or boiler is more than 15 years old. Consider
replacing with an energy star qualified furnace, which is 15% more
efficient than a conventional furnace. If you have a boiler,
consider replacing with an energy star qualified boiler that is 5%
more efficient than a new, standard model.
-Your heat pump or air conditioner is more than 10 years old.
Consider replacing it with a unit that has earned the Energy Star

- Add controls to the exhaust fan. These fans remove air you have
